To be a Rainbow Girl you must be between the ages of 11 and 21 years old. You may be
a daughter of a Master Mason; an Eastern Star, an Amaranth member, a majority member, or you may be a friend of a Rainbow
Girl.
Ask a Rainbow member you know to get you a "petition" or application for membership.
Once the Petition is received it must first be reviewed by the Advisory Board, and then by the Assembly. When the Petition
is accepted, a committee of three people will visit the prospective member and her parents at their home. The chief purpose
of this visit is to provide the parents and the prospective member with more information about Rainbow and to answer any questions.
You'll submit the completed petition to the local Assembly, and after balloting upon your request, you'll be invited to participate
in an Initiation Ceremony that impresses an obligation on young women to live a good life and do right. This ceremony is by
far one of the most impressive presentations a girl can experience.
